The PMCT team works closely with the relevant THS staff, to ensure that all junior doctors are provided with the appropriate level of support, supervision, and access to medical education opportunities. The health and well-being of all junior doctors is of key importance, and in addition to the support provided by PMCT and THS, junior doctors also have access to a range of external support services.

The Postgraduate Medical Education Council of Tasmania has dedicated teams to provide prevocational medical education and support to Junior Doctors and IMGs across Tasmania. These teams are located in Hobart at the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston at Launceston General Hospital, and in the North West at the North West Regional Hospital and the Mersey Community Hospital. The Executive Team and Accreditation Manager are located in Hobart at the PMCT Head Office.

At the hospital-based sites the PMCT Team includes a Director of Clinical Training, Medical Education Advisor, Clinical Skills Educator and administration support staff, along with other specialist staff.
