Courses & Workshops
PMCT ensures, through the accreditation process, appropriate department-based education opportunities within each clinical term. In addition, PMCT provides a weekly JMO Education Program, as well as clinical skills training sessions.
Session content is linked to the Australian Curriculum Framework for Junior Doctors. The LGH offers a range of tutorials and education sessions including intern tutorials, AMC clinical exam preparation tutorials and Basic Physician Training tutorials.

JMO Tutorial Program
PMCT organises weekly tutorials for junior doctors, which cover a wide range of relevant and interesting topics. These are typically presented by senior staff, consultants and specialists from the Launceston General Hospital.
Tutorial attendance for Interns is classified as protected teaching time.
A calendar of scheduled tutorials for the term is provided by the PMCT team.
